Meet Nate (they/he).

A white queer and trans neurodivergent social worker/therapist who has 25 years of social work experience.

They provide individual therapy for youth age 10+ and adults as well as family therapy. They work with members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and our allies.

Nate works with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, self-awareness, relationship issues, family struggles, trauma, identity exploration, discrimination, and more. He is trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and yoga therapy. Nate makes use of these approaches, as well as somatic experiencing, attachment theory, somatic IFS, and DBT in tailoring sessions to clients’ needs.

Nate’s approach is anti-oppressive, attachment-based, neurodiversity affirming, queer and trans affirming, and poly informed and affirming. Nate’s pays particular attention to what each client brings and to the whole person that they are. They see each session as a collaborative process with the aim of supporting clients’ in their goals.

A queer cis white woman with ADHD in her 40’s.

Clients served: 2SLGBTQIA+ youth 10+; 2SLGBTQIA+ adults; Allied adults and youth; Approved NIHB Provider for Indigenous folks.
